Telma Miranda
Telma Miranda is a portuguese artist who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts - University of Lisbon. She is a full time tile painter, Helen's proud mom, loves to be in the mountains and in love with illustration is seeking for "given birth" to beautiful and inspiring picture books.
Her main inspiration is nature so often she scketches in the middle of the mountains.
Most of the time draws animals and the human figure tends to be always naked, small head and vigorous body to emphasize a more sensual side of living as opposed to a more rational.
Her illustrations are characterized by strong and contrasting colors, brushstrokes worked in such a way as to exalt the brevity and dance of life. The main technique is watercolor.
